This section and most others often have a bit of fun (stops us all pulling the rest of our hair out).
Pics of the whole car not the points. That would be best asked in the Series section as was pointed out by our resident cartoonist.
Your choice. As to if you want good advice. Sure youngsters on BMW forums know more about points than the old farts on here

It appears to me that you can hand it out but can't take it !!
As for the BMW owners forum (excuse me while I spit)
I doubt they could identify a set of points if their lives depended on it.
I've been a driver of - let's call it traditional style vehicles - for many years. About 35 years ago I had a points spring break on the road between Bracknell and Ascot.. I walked back to a big Peugeot dealer threw the points on the counter and asked if they had any points in stock so I could repurpose the spring off theirs onto mine.. the young 'Head mechanic' looked at them in wonder and asked what points were.

I was merely musing over where I stand with my Landy, Knapster kindly offered to identify what state it is in.. and in reply I posted a pic of my points and idly said I'm just thinking this over at the mo.

You aren't one for small talk it seems.
There is a wealth of info on here, and it is all freely given/shared.
It does come with some "baggage" though, like being a bit thick-skinned and posting questions in the right section.
Other than these minor foibles, it's pretty good. You will get the hang of it.

Oddly enough some work black and white, not saying wrong with doing it in colour, but it keeps the image cleaner.
