hi im collecting my first disco tomorrow after a very nervous long think ...been trying to decide for a while as i need a tow car
just hope im doing the right thing , hear so many negatives , i know they are rust boxes but im assured this ones had the floor sills rear arches etc done

it was owned by a mechanic , and he assures me it drives perfect ? well ill know tomorrow (but it has no histroy as its been done by himseld suppose they all say that)

ok if it gets me home as i dont know if the timing belts been done how much roughly does this cost , or is it a diy jobby or are special tools needed.

if its not a rot box , is it the gearbox which cost the most next or are they fairly reliable
and ive heard bits are cheap so is it easy to work on and is there lots of info to guide you through most jobs,,

i make my own bio so im hoping to run it on this
its a 96 its got 150000 on the clock , and it going for 1600 i suppose this is high as i know some on here get them for less than a grand but i cant seem to find one unless its rotted through

hope to try some green laning if all goes well
