Hey from Aberdeen

Hey all on here. You nutters.

Names Chris and just invested in my first landy a disco 1 which has been passed around the family and been looked after by my uncle who has been a fanatic with them since day one. And no idea why it's taken me soo long to see the attraction.

My previous project was an Audi S2 coupe which I got pretty beaten up and in a space of a month over hauled the body into the RS2 Coupe which was never released due to being to much competion to the porsche 911.

So now I'm onto my next project, a work horse beast off roader!!

So I've picked up a 200tdi Disco, my plans are prob what most do, lift it up with big nobbly tyres and all the trimmings. So I reckon this is the place to find like minded folk with parts and tips.

Think of a 2.2 inline five in a disco! With 600bhp :violent:

I have to agree it's pretty slow compared to the Audi lol.. But the landy can go anywhere and seeing this winter is going to be the worst in years, Audi will be put away.

Been a while since been on the forum, now a happy owner of a disco 2 td5 pre face lift which I love. Seeing the disco1 needed so much work to get through an mot was not wise to upgrade anything on it. Now being worked hard on the fields.

I've been planning out a list of items to buy for the disco2 and well this is the place to be to get some stuff.
