Took radio outa me wagon today is 1993 200tdi and just plugged it back in and got no power. The plug the radio harness goes into in the landy dash is getting no live checked wiv me multi meter. Checked all fuses, fine. what else can go to stop the plug getting any power? Might of pulled the cable to far? In this case whats the best way of pulling the wiring out from inside the dash/ bulkhead? take fusebox out? and peel away?
I'm baffled what could have blown or pulled free.
Let me know any suggestions or if happended before?
Cheers.

Jus run another live from something else that would b the easiest jus make sure you fuse it

Probably best to take the permanent live from the cig lighter

Or you could trace the live back into the dash & see where it's pulled away from - but it's pretty tight around the back of the radio!

Found the problem. traced wired back inside the dash and hidden away was a tiny in-line fuse that had blown.
