HI GUYS

I have just removed the engine from my p38 range rover p38 diesel..... due to a head problem, and cant find a good second hand engine, any1 have any idea where i could find one ?

and will the diesel pump need to be coded to the car as the old pump is not that grate, i hope i can just slot the new engine and pump in

Don't mean to sound bleedin' obvious but have you looked for one from a Beemer or an Omega? There are a few external bits that need changing over but with the engines side by side they'll be obvious. As for the pump you've normally got to retain the electronic top section from yours and fit it onto the replacement. There's no plugging in necessary, just setting the pump up as usual.

Yes I tried looking for 1 but that all have to high miles!!!!!!!! Lol maby just being picky, so I can fit an engine from any of the above and just change the top of the pump, and it should (term used loosely) work haha
