Help, SatNav stopped working

Can anyone advise, I removed the SatNav DVD to check on the dates of the mapping system. When re-inserted I have lost the whole touch screen function which only displays the Landrover logo and will not show anything else (ie Navigation and Preferences selection). Is there a special procedure for doing this, the handbook is somewhat vague here.

False alarm, found out I had to leave the ignition active after inserting the DVD and then leave it in this state for about 15 mins before it re-activated. Also found out that a SatNav DVD from my Jaguar XF (2 years newer) successfully loaded into the Freelander 2 system since both are Denso systems.
