Hi all.
Hope someome can help, only had my td5 X reg 2001 auto ES for 123 miles about 10 days, the kids jump in and out when left in the garage and it kept dropping one side-but lifted straight up on turn of key, so put two new Dunlop bags on, hope sorted!!!!! but as I have never driven one before, is it just that they are so high off the ground that they seem to weave about when going down the road or do I have a problem? it has got ACE fitted, also it an automatic and the two green lights manual and sport mode have been flashing together, turned engine off then on, still flashing, off again then on and ok should I worry?

Thanks bjtd5

1. did u disconect the battery before u replaced the bags?
2. if u push the ORM switch is it lifting higher?

If 1 and 2 yes and the chassis is quite horizontal then get used to it........the weave feeling could come from tired shock absorbers too.

No did not disconect the battery.

Yes it does lift higher when I push the ORM switch.

How do I check the ride height sensors? seems to be level all round

Happy for some to drive it and see?

If its level all round and lifting on ORM then its all right............the ride height sensors can be checked/calibrated only with dedicated scanner......dont bother with them get used to the SLS and to be certain that everything is OK u might replace the rear shock absorbers too......when i first drove my Disco after a Vectra i thought i was in a boat.......and i just loved it:D
