Righty ho...After posting earlier in the week I decided to take the beast by the horns and change the swivel joint today....all was going swimmingly and I managed to get everything off without too much bother and then started to reassemble. All was well until I cleaned the inner drive shaft and noticed some rather serious pitting on the top of the universal joint, looks as though the bearing inside the stub axle has bust and has caused the damage. Here lies my problem....for which I willing to marry off my daughter for assistance! I really need to get the beast moving again as it is currently sat on a neighbours drive who has kindly lent me the space for the weekend. It is also bank holiday weekend! Does anybody local(ish) have the parts I can pay for or suggest anwhere open tomorrow in the Surrey area where I can pick up at least the bearing and possibly an inner drive shaft? I am indebted as ever to the members knowlegde and expertise, my daughter is on standby!!
She is a '90 on an R plate......

Right, not sure, but can probably help.

If @jamesmartin can tell me which ones you have.

Fairly sure that you've got rear discs and therefore taper rollers at the top of the swivels, but are the drive members the thick or thin?

I'm out (in the wrong direction) tomorrow but intending to be back early evening. We may need to borrow them from my project axles, but it's a five minute job with a rattle gun. If we're lucky they may be boxed up and ready to go back to the supplier because I bought the wrong type.

I'll send a pm with my numbers in case you've lost them.
