Folks was doing some engine mount work over the weekend,

I have really done it this time  , the threads for one of the mounts have stretched and eventually stripped, M14 bolts into aluminium, Great

Its the engine mount where the two large bolts go into, it has 4 smaller bolts securing it to the engine block. See attachments

I cant get access to the Microcat system to check for a part number.

Excellent Methos, extra kudos for you. Thank you sir.
I will phone the dealers in the morning, reckon it will be expensive.
I have the plan B over in general LR chat, although I picked up a M14 tap on the way home from work.

Priced the part £53 dealer price, not too bad I guess.:)

Although its an engine out job to remove the bolts securing it. Engine out I can do, although its more work than I have time for at the moment.

Will keep you posted on the retap of the M14 thread.;)

Theres one here but I've never used those guy personally, so no idea what they're like for delivery times, P&P to Ireland would probably push it back up to around the £50 dealer price anyway.

Engine removal to remove the Engine mount bolts, oh the joys of transverse mounted engines eh ? :)

Methos.

Thanks, only I'm keeping my workload down.

Engine out below
