hi all

i think my freebie is preparing me for a defender, as....

- the clutch pedal is soo heavy i now have a limp due to my overdeveloped left leg.
- it creates a smoke screen on startup that would scare most firemen
- The gears are so difficult to engage that double clutching is a regular occurrence.
- Its can be so slow at accelerating that i have to plan any overtakes a good minute before i complete the maneuver.

sorry i just wanted a little rant :p

oh and if you where wondering this is a 2005 TD4 thats done 75k (65k of which have probably been done offroad, it was a LR demo vehicle)

oh and for all you 'trak-tor boys' i will be upgrading to a 110 double cab at the end of the year :)

Sounds like your clutch needs some work, your engine needs a service, the induction system cleaned out, the EGR blanking, the fuel filter changing, the crack breather filter changing and a Synergy 2 fitted to it.

However, as you're off to the dark side with the Defender then there is no point... :D
