Reading a few other posts on battery drain, you mention if the headlight wipers dont stop in the correct position that could be a cause, Im suffering drain at the mo, one wiper is sat right at bottom of the headlight (almost off it), the other is sitting on the light lense, by a couple of inches I reckon (not nearcar at present). Is this out of position enough to possibly cause the drain? If so how do i rectify it? (am looking for possible quick fixes at the mo, things I can try myself)

Cheers all

And do they have their own fuse, was wondering if I pulled it would it prevent it happening (if this was the cause)

you could try the forced method?

Furniture feet from Wilkos about £1

Little rubber translucent feet about 5mm stuck in the lower corner of the headlamp stops the wiper moving to the bottom.

Dont know how that affects the motor on a L322 but on my p38 one wouldn't wipe due to being stuck below the headlight. Fitted 'feet' and now both stop at the bottom of commanded travel and wipe no problem.

A recipe for failure as it will stress the mechanism and maybe stop the power turning off. A much better idea is to remove the arms, cause the motors to cycle, then refit the arms in the correct position:).
