I know I'm a numpty before anyone says...but basically if I adjust the bar connecting the ball joints to 924mm then it should toe out as it's supposed to? (ie 2degrees)?

That is nominal length to start with, but you should still put a gauge to the front and back of the rim to actually measure. I checked again after a few road trips as well.
924mm is the drag link measurement not the track rod, 1215mm is the track rod measurement your after, just thought I'd say

well, my mechanical endeavours have been brought to an abrupt pause as I broke a rachet trying to undo the near side clamp... tomorrow I will buy a replacement, it wasn't even a cheapo one!Similar threads
