Hello just a short intro s a new member. Had a 2005 Freelander td4. For a few months and yesterday the clutch started o slip slightly so looks like a new one is on the cards. I know I has a dual mass flywheel but what I don't know is does this have to be changed with the new clutch. It does not rattle or knock but my car has 93000 on the clock and I think it is on the original clutch. Is it worth putting in a second hand flywheel from a breaker as they cost a bomb. Any help would be appreciated

Welcome.

Have a look in the Freelander section. Many people have discussed a strange thing called a clutch. It must be something to do with a manual, as my auto doesn't appear to have one according to my wife :D
