hi all don't know which thread to post in but I'm looking for some help with buying a multimedia system to fit into my freelander td4 .went to my local shop and they wanted £900 to supply and fit one. I've looked around on eBay etc and can get them for about £150 but my local audio shop says I will need adaptors as freelander are difficult to fit multimedia systems .can anyone shed some light on what I should do and are the ones on eBay okay to fit into freelancers.

Hello mate and welcome, I don't think it is that difficult a job, you can get double Din units anywhere and most audi dealers will have specific adaptors for each vehicle.

The company selling the above unit also sell adaptors so you can still use the steering wheel buttons.
