Hello from a rather snowy Glasgow,

My name is Alex. I'm no stranger to Land Rovers, having grown up around them you'd have thought that numerous experiences of being taken home in an AA truck rather than Dad's shiny new Range Rover would teach you that the green oval is not synonymous with reliability or, indeed, build quality. Here I am though, on my 4th Land Rover (and 3rd Range Rover), there's something infectious about the brand.

The latest addition arrived just in time for Christmas; a 2001 Westminster P38, and a diesel too! (no more blown head gaskets for this guy!). Wes has been well looked after from new, a substantial book of receipts and full dealer history helps to shoo away some of the buyers guilt and the voices in my head saying "what on earth have you done!?" are quieter than when I bought my last P38 (which had, er, no history whatsoever).

I'm sure I know a few of you already from various Land Rover events in Scotland attended whilst I had my D2, but hoping to get to know lots more members this year.

All The Best,

Alex.

Welcome. Nice late model P38. Loch Lomond?

Thanks very much, not without his flaws (currently need to use the EKA every time as the key disintegrated in my hand), but it's nice to have all the top spec toys.

Yeah the third photo was taken at the Inveruglas visitors café on Loch Lomond and the first couple are up the Glen Etive road.

Are you from round this neck of the woods?

Alex.

I'm over at Kinross way but recognised the loch and hills. Have fun. Any queries go to the RR part of the forum. I'm a series landy .
