I just bought myself a Discovery 1 300 TDI. It's not my daily driver, and I got it for 'careful' offroading. I'm hoping to get some advice from here for a few modifications.



I used to have a Defender 110 XS, but decided that offroading £35k's worth of vehicle probably wasn't a sensible idea.

It is in good condition... I had been looking one for a while before finding this. It's a 1997 model Japanese import, and came to the UK in 2004. I am the third owner on the V5.

It has been treated for rust, so hopefully just a case of keeping on top of it rather than a restoration job.
