I have a LR freelander, 2002, TD4. Use it for hauling about kayaks, surfboards, and mtn bikes. Doesn't see much offroad, but does end up off the standard roads every now and again. Love it to bits, its so practical, i dunno why i didn't buy one ages ago. Also have a Peugeot 205 1.9gti - fully restored - which is my non-practical car!
Do pretty much all the servicing myself - tho first time owning a diesel so have being caught out a few times.
