I have in the last month got my first LR a 57 plate freelander 2 td4, having migrated from from an X type Jag estate as the old bones are getting a bit creakier than I would like, meaning that I was having to virtually roll out of the car. its absolutely wonderfull being able to step in and out of the motor without having to resort to all manner of contortions. My initial impressions are very favorable with excellent visibility and a doddle to park even in tight spots given that its considerably shorter than the X type, it is in fact a smaller motor all round other than in height. Any tips, tricks or improvement to make the driving/ maintaining experience more pleasurable or easier would be welcome.
