Heavy shaking under braking

Im currently getting heaving shaking through the steering wheel, when braking. Ive replaced the discs and pads all round and this has not cured it( althoguh it is a little better)
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi Matt,

you may want to look at track rod ends and stearing damper. I had a similer vibration under braking in mine and it was the damper.

This might be a good place to start.

hi all,
i have the same problem getting very hevy shaking through the steering wheel, when braking say at 60m . Ive replaced the discs and pads ,tyres ..balance and all and this didn't do nothing.
Any ideas what could be causing this?coz this doing my heading

I'm not sure on the P38 but on a classic this can be caused by the swivels being worn. Also worn anti roll bar bushes can cause vibration.

Heavy braking, anyone looked at the rear brakes, cos this happened to me and was found to be the rear brakes, ended up with a siezed caliper and warped the disc, by-eck was it a vibration!!!!!

it started when i was driving it bit rough ,i mean speeding and braking hushely ,then bad burning smell came from the pads ,and them from that day trouble start .no idea what to do?
