Heater display

Morning all,well they say it happens in 3s,well I'm getting my quoter,went out this morning and have lost the digital display for the heater controls,you can just see it very very faintly,everything works ok and all the orange lights work for blower position and heated screens it's just the display,is there a quick fix or a new unit required,cheers lance

You could replace the entire unit if you want.
I'd just replace the blown backlight bulb myself.

Yes just sounds like the bulb has blown, common problem, happened to mine. It's an hour's work max to get the HEVAC control unit out and replace it, just follow RAVE which tells you how to do it. Usual advice is to replace all the bulbs while you are at it, they are not expensive, and are available from most auto stores.

Ok I have the bulbs out, where can I get the 'neo wedge' type with the green sock on it for the fog lamp, cruise control etc switches?

Just to update, got the neo wedge bulbs from Rimmer Bros, very good price.
