I had fitted a diy heated seat kit that came with a set of second hand seats I [purchased. One seat had already been fitted, and I fitted the second one. It is all wired into separate dash switchs on a relay fed circuit. The problem that I have with them is that they now no longer work (electrics are fine), and have not really worked very well from day one. As I did not buy the kit, and I bought the seats because of their condition rather than being heated I cannot complain too much, however as all the wiring is already in place and I am about to retrim the drivers seat anyway I though now would be a good time to get a better kit.

Has anyone used the exmoor trim heated seat kit (I am getting the retrim kit form there) or have any other recommendations?

Ive fitted a few of the wire type heated seat kits to various cars and whilst they were okay they took time to warm up.
Mate fitted the carbon ones to his 90 and reckoned they were brilliant and fast.

Cheers, had not come across the carbon ones so that is something to look into before I make a decision.

I fitted the carbon ones along with the OEM wiring loom and single switch to fit my 2002 TD5 consul surround. Very 'Landrovery' result - you can fry an egg on them very quickly!
