Evening,
Hope someone can offer advice please.
Okay it's the 2005 D3 my sister gave me because of the never ending problems she had with it, well it's thrown up the HDC warning. Had its MOT last week and had to have new rear brake pipes because of severe corrosion even though it passed its French MOT (CT) late December but otherwise all fine.
Like a lot of cars it's been parked up for months and just driven round the block to keep the oil flowing and the battery on a smart charger. Went out today to move the car to another parking area whilst I cut the hedge, all fine, then brought it back and the HDC warning was on.
With a Foxwell NT510 I've got I got the following codes that wouldn't erase, so presume hard faults:
1: Invalid data received from dynamics control module. Temporary.
2: Invalid data received from steering angle sensor. Temporary.
But looking at the SAS in detail it shows no faults at all. Battery at 12.85VDC resting, all bulbs working.
So may I please ask if anyone is able to offer advice. Been racking my brains to which car I keep, my D2 V8 or this D3, which I've got to say is lovely to drive, can't keep both but this is starting to make my mind up and it's looking like it's keep the D2.
So please any D3 experts out there HELP I could change my mind and keep this.....!
Thank you....Graham.
