Hello with all the info I can got from you lot I'm nearly there . I've found out that terrafirma tf125 and tf126 are the shocks I need to fit arnott gen 3 with the 2" lift to my p38 , is this what I need ? I was told that I will need to fit longer arms to the rear sensors ? Is this it is this all the info I need can I now order the parts can any tell me any good places to order from .
Thanks for all your help so far

I go off roading and need new airbags so thought I would go for the best. I believe that it will sit at the same hight driving around and if I get it reprogrammed it would go 2" higher on offroad mode . It makes sence to me

Hairy muff mate..... high setting is high enuff fer me :)

I normally go green laning with some old landrovers with lift kits and feel a bit small I can still go anywhere they can but had some close calls in Wales the other week and with my airbags giving out I thought gen3 were the way to go , finding the best shocks seems to be the problem

But it won't. The only time you will use the two inches is if chassis is grounded. You cannot programme it to lift two inches higher than high setting. Unless you fit different arms to sensors. Also you won't get full articulation at the front unless you remove the anti roll bar. Which would make it extremly iffy for road use.

Well that's something different to what everyone else is saying , interesting ? Can anyone else add to this ? I know about the longer arm kits for sensors and I've been told a lot that you can program the high setting . So what are the facts ........

If you look at Range Rovers Net. And search around there is a electronic box you can make to switch the extra lift in. It fools the sensors into thinking they are in a different position than they are. You just flick a switch when you need it and switch it off when you don't. You just got told the facts as far as i am aware.
