Hi All,
Ive been reading through the various searches in relation to battery drain.
The car in question is a 2002 L322 TD6. I brought it a few months ago and it quickly bacame clear that the battery was shot as nearly every night it would go flat esp when freezing.
I have sinces replaced with a the biggest bosch that I can sqeeze in, I have also done the final stages resistor. I thought all was cured to be honest as we had no issues for ages until 2 weeks ago. Every so often the battery goes flat over night.
Last week I had an auto electrian come out and he pointed out that the small temp sensor fan in the dash was running for over 40minutes, only after he removed it and cleaned the vast amount of dust did it shut down. This was the only drain he could find.
After doing loads of searches on forums i keep coming back to the harness kit YNI500040K, does anyone know if this harness is in someway linked to the small temp sensor fan? If so will it fit a 2002 and is it still avaliable?
