Hi, back to the good old subject about tyres!!

I need a set of tyres on my discovery 2, the size on the car being 255/65/16. Is it ok to go straight to a 70% aspect ratio? Also I have had some hankook dynapro atm rf10 on my previous 4x4 (ahem Jeep) and they were fantastic in anything! Now should I get these again, they are M+S rated. Or should I get general AT's? These are not M+S rated as far as I know. So how do they perform in snow etc, just in case we get some this year?
There is about a £40 difference in overall price. The AT's are only available in the 70 aspect ratio by the look of it!
Thanks.

Hi, yes you can run 255/70/16 size. The brand or tyre is purely your choice although the GG AT is available in 255/65/16

My GG AT's are arriving Monday, 255/65/16 109T.
£436 fitted. (4)

From what I've read, although not actually M&S rated they are pretty good. Soon find out!

Got my tyres at last. Here is the picture (I think). I went for the Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 in the end in the slightly larger aspect ratio of 255/70/16. They make my car look like a Landrover now I think, and I even opted to have the white writing on the outside. I hope the picture has attached itself properly!!

blackcircles for tyres! put your size in, choose your nearest garage to fit, pay and car is booked in, there tyres were £20.00 a tyre on Michelins! 4 tyres thats £80.00, hankooks! had them on a van once, don't last!!

I didnt fancy black circles value choice! I had these hankooks on my Jeep and they shown little sign of wear over two years even with the tyres rubbing as the viscous coupling was shot. We will have to wait and see.......
