half sidelights & no dash lights?

My 94 300Tdi has lost all the offside sidelights plus the dash lights. The sidelight fuse is fine. Pulling it looses all the remaining sidelights.

Everything else electrical works perfectly. This happened after towing for a day, and I'm wondering if dirt in the trailer electrics somehow shorted the car? Unplugging the trailer makes no difference.

Help! 600 miles and an 88 inch to pick up tomorrow!

Solved; the fuse under the bonnet does the near side sidelights. There is another fuse in the fuse box beneath the steering wheel that does offside and the dash lights... of course...
