Had a funny grinding/rubbing noise coming from my 90 for a week or so which seems to be getting slowly worse. Seems to be coming from the rear passenger side but pretty hard to tell and only seems to happen when I take a corner, and is not affected by speed. Definately not a tyre rubbing on anything. Gonna go and have a wiggle of everything now, but does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Is there any other way to check wheel bearing other than jacking up and shaking the wheel? Any way of checking the bearing or re-greasing?

Just get hold of the wheel at the top pull towards you and push aggresivly you will feel the play.
I know on my td5 if a wheel bearing is starting to give up the brakes have to be pumped to work properly.

I had a rubbing noise appear on mine a few months ago, only when i was reversing, and it turned out to be the brake guard rubbing against the brake disk. Give that a check.

Thanks for the suggestions. Have had a good pull and wiggle of everything and can not find nothing obvious but will have a better check tomorrow.
