Thanks for reply,
found CD as per your information, that works fine....1 happy wife.
will check the disk again, but from memory you can select country GB from the menu
when you say diag menu, are you talking about internal, or with a with a code reader

Was on about the internal diag menu on the touchscreen - a google search will show you how to access it

Is the TV and GPS shared? thinking it might be the antenna? is the antenna active for TV and GPS might be a power issue?

Shared as in its in the same vehicle ! that's about it.

seems like the background software is all working, anyone had experience with any of these.
I think the phone may just be a pairing thing that I will try that again today.

i'm betting the Nokia phone module may be misbehaving

how about the reverse cam is their a common 12v feed, fuse?// don't have handbook so don't know fuse list.

I don't understand what you query is. I've told you where the problem is for the reverse cam not working. its the 4 pin plug on the board in the reverse cam.

basically when you select reverse it sends a pulse to the camera to turn it on, when you deselect it turns it off. the 4 plugs on the board are power, negative, video positive and video common. the camera is essentially poor quality. when it was manufactured, the definition was a lot lower than is common now. Land Rover want in excess of £500 + VAT for a replacement camera of poor quality or, you can do what I did on my walk through and fit a replacement for £9.74 Inc Vat or higher resolution and it has reverse bars too. if you want your OEM camera to remain, you'll need to pull the camera apart and solder the wires directly to the pins.

I tried to find your walk through, on the camera, can you tell me how to find it,

I found a Utube about the radio, not working, because the Blue tooth module had failed, the temporary work around was to bypass the BT module (link the two optic cables)
My radio is working, so I am assuming the BT module is ok?

On the GPS seems the antenna may be the problem, I am going to try replacing the antenna, any advice? I wondered if any of the cheap antenna on eBay can be stuck inside the shark fin housing

thanks for your help to date

Why do you think the GPS antenna is faulty ?

I watched a video on you tube, and it had exactly the same symptoms as my car, GPS was locked on an overseas town but the maps moved and everything else worked.
Mt antenna was full of moister I replaced the antenna and the GPS worked fine.

diagnostic was spot on, the reverse camera connector pins were playing up, I pushed them on the board and applied some super-glue, I purchased the cam you recommended, and will decide if I want to change it or just keep the original.
Next I will try the phone and then the TV

Well the GPS gave up, so I decided to change the camera, followed your instruction video, the camera I got sent Had a Y adapter between camera and the plugs , it's important to keep the Y Adapter otherwise you will fry the camera, ....don't ask..
Reverse and GPS now working going to try and sort the phone and TV out next.
