Just returned from Wales again, live there one day for sure.

Moved static caravan (upgrade)
Borrowed a farmers 4 wheel trailer heavy as fook, transported a shed from the garden, alomg with fencing panels and god knows what.
Top box full of wood, loads of tools and crap in the boot.

Ist time i've towed anything substantial.

Melandie acted as if there was no weight, did everything asked of her.
Really impressed, an some of the travelling was over ****ty orrible lumpy quaggy slimy ground(not nice)
One thing though, all the low speed, low geared trundling gummed up the fuel filter, with all the veggie and that.
One thing is for sure when on veggie melandie likes to be driven hard, low speed stop and start kills.

Because i only bought the filter 4 weeks ago,i tend to take the gummed one off an soak it in kero, then when the replacement blocks up swop em and soak the other.
Working fine at the moment.
:)

I dunno how you manage to have so many problems with oil veggie. I use mine on my land, often leaving it ticking over for ages while doing fencing etc or pulling a mower. The worst I've ever seen is some smoke when it's revved after ticking over for ages. Having said that I'm back on pump diesel at the moment due to there not being much difference in the price round here and me being to lazy to pour ****loads of 1 litre bottles int me tank.

I emphathise with you about litre bottles.
Why leave it ticking over and waste fuel???

It just seems easier than starting it every five minutes. Plus me ignition key is on the way to snapping and I haven't got a spare so try to use it as little as poss:D
