Freelander 1 General lubrication.

Whilst I am bored in the midst of the Corona crisis, I was wondering if there were any grease nipples on a Freelander 1 TD4 which would benefit from my attention, or any other places aside from the door hinges and straps where extra lubrication is recommended.

Word of warning about door straps. The door straps slide in a rubber Bush which can swell with oil and grease causing seizure. Silicon oil or spray is best.

My TD4 had a grease nipple on the propshaft UJ but don't know of any others. Check IRD, axle, gearbox and engine oil plus do a one wheel up VCU test.

Cheers. Already did the bonnet latch with the bonnet hinges. I have had cables snap on me before, and that was a pain in the bum. I learned from that one. No sunroof on this one, unfortunately. Or should that be fortunately?
