Hi, just thought I'd ask before pulling the box out. Planning on rebuilding my Gearbox it pops out of all gears on engine braking, and I can float gears don't even need clutch. What parts do you think I will need? 1976 series 3 109

Cheers

I would first check the main shaft nut is not loose and the detent springs and balls in place and working properly , however if you strip down you will need seals, gaskets, and possibly bearings and shafts depending on wear, are the selector shafts tight and is there movement on the engine/ gearbox mountings

All engine gear box rubber mounts are new so there should be no movement will check the main shaft but and other bits when I get a bit of free time. Cheers
