Lol, Ive just read 4 pages of those review (god knows how many there are) and it would be hilarious if it wasnt such a serious issue.

What surprises me is the number of people running reasonably nice cars (Beemers, Mercs, Jags etc) then putting the cheapest "rubber" they can find on em.

Madness...

Fullrun tyres should only be fitted to a vehicle if you need to tow it to a scrapyard. They are however one of the finest ditch finders you'll fit. As with everything, you get what you pay for. It amazes me how people (blokes usually) saying "its only the wifes car so stick the cheapest on"...........

The other attitude being that "the ABS will take care of it". Not when your going sideways...........

How the lving titty f*** can such tyres be allowed to be manufactured?

arv - what price would you be looking at and what size? I know what my Toyos cost me, just curious as to how CHEAP these things are?

I like the more scientific review "It seems to me that the tyre compound is not really suitable for the purpose of making contact with the road" although the black doughnuts of death comment says it all

Nothing bad to say, nor anything good really - they are average.

I have a new set of 255/55/18 on my Td5 and have not found a ditch, lost traction on a roundabout or got stuck on a muddy field.

Maybe I'm lucky, skilful, or just average - but I trundle about quite happily on them!

Would I rather have 16's with BFG's or GG's? - Yes, smoother ride.
Can I afford them? - no.

Happy with what I have then!

Funny how reviews seem to cloud peoples judgement. Had a set of Fullrun HS 255's fitted to my Disco 2 three years ago. Have nothing but praise for them, especially at the price. Came back up the M5 from Cornwall last night in probably the worst conditions I've seen on a motorway with absolutely no problem. Even had occasion to emergency stop into a farm field gate opening whilst down there to avoid an oncoming car, tho 50% tyres, 50% traction control. FULLRUN tyres, GREAT, HS 255's anyway.

Got runway enduro hts on mine seem good on the road and can do Salisbury plain too

Camskill are doing 255/65R16 Nexen Roadian AT 106T tyres for £70.30 inc VAT but carriage or fitting extra.

We've used them and still do, with a new set in the stores, but as they have lasted well we didn't need them as soon as we expected.

Mileage is good, they are A/T but not the sort of thing you'd go mud-plugging with. Not had any issues with grip etc., were OK in the snow in 2012.

Made in Korea, just in case anyone is nervous about the source.

I can also vouch for the Nexens as a reasonable budget tyre, no problems and i will replace shortly with the same!
