Good afternoon all

Failed MOT due to no full beam on either headlight, I've replaced both bulbs to no avail.

I would think it's the stalk switch however the telltale on the dashboard lights up when full beam is selected. Has anyone had similar?

Id presume the switch is working if it's switching the telltale as I don't imagine they're on a separate circuit but I may be incorrect

Many thanks

Could be the socket inside the inner wing, corroded or vibrated loose. Sure you could bypass the stalk to check if the MB works, lotta power goes through that stalk. Is there a MB relay somewhere, or is there spots fitted?

sounds like the stalk is ok as the warning lamp illuminates ,depending on year and model could be relay or damaged righthand wing harness
