Fuel filler and breather pipes

Hello lads, I have a problem with filling my disco 1 3.9 V8 with petrol. it leaks out all over the forecourt if I fill the tank.
Luckily for me I am in Saudi and the petrol is for next to nowt ( 7 quid a tank of 95 octane ) sorry don't mean to wind you up.

Back to the point I am back in blighty in two weeks and have emailed a few suppliers for a price and availability and can't get a reply.

I just need a company who will let me know if they have the required parts and for how much !!!!!!!

can anyone recommend someone PLEASE.

Email them again or telephone, simples.

This happens IMO coz the suppliers dont have the whole filler assy as a complete part...they have it "exploded" in 18 sub-parts ... Your problem is with the breather tube(ESR3868) or with the the bottom hose which has a valve(ESR3711 -expensive as hell and it's just 1 out of 18) ... in the breather part it has a connection which has a small valve within... IMO take the filler assy down, unclog everything there and it will work again. If u want more info access Microcat - Spare parts Land Rover catalogue in English select Microcat > Discovery 1 from the left bar > Fuel and emission systems > ull reach the exploded diagram of the filler(101.076) and u can order all the parts one by one inserting the part numbers in the search engine of any online store>
e.g > Britcar (UK) Ltd > ESR3868 PIPE
and :doh: Britcar (UK) Ltd > ESR3711 HOSE - FILLER PIPE

Was just a demo ... I think these are genuine parts but u better search a cheaper supplier who sells OEM's or aftermarket parts.
