the misses has broke the freelander again, the clutch pedal goes straight to the floor, ive found that the arm that the slave cylinders moves has snapped, can i just replace that part or is it a new gearbox, its the arm outside the gearbox, anyone know what its called.
im hoping its not too dear
thx

its the other part, you have the cylinder which pushes an arm on the gearbox(at the top of the arm is a round ball like socket),in turn engages the clutch.
i can picture the part dont know what its called
cheers

The clutch fork?

Edit:

I know what you mean now, you have to buy the whole slave to get that arm and ball joint (£50 - £70)

Ive just looked at the haynes and this arm continues into the gearbox so its the clutch fork
is the clutch fork all one piece if so is expensive

Hello,
something like that hapened to me last summer,
mounting plate (part UUU100690) broke due to rust on the Clutch Cylinder (part STC000210) support, Clutch Cylinder broke away leaving small metal rod connected to clutch,
made me drive 15 km in 2nd gear at 3am to get home,
left the fixing to my brother, he said it was quite easy, hardest part was fiting the Pipe to the clutch pedal.

best regards
Miguel Baptista

£30-40 all one peice, you'll have to remove gear box to fit. might as well change the clutch while your in there!
