Have recently fitted a new front nearside door lock actuator only to have the intermittent fault of the inside door handle not always opening the door. The fault is the same if the ignition is off or on and the first pull of the handle releases the central locking if the ignition is still on, or the central locking unlocks once the ignition is off but the second pull of the handle then fails to open the door.
I'm guessing it's a poor electrical connection or a faulty actuator rather than a Bowden cable fault but before I strip the door again does anyone have any experience of this fault?
