Hi all just a quick one .can I change the front lower a arm on my Freelander without taking the drive shaft off ie get a good spanner on the ball joint:confused:.

yes ,22mm iirc ,then put chisel/wedge in slot of clamp apply long leverage and wack clamp till joint pops out ,a spare jack or wooden blocks etc used to hold wheel hub up helps ,obviouls with car weight held under sill
