Well on my search for more snow I came across a feck load of it! The road between 5 roads and trimsaran if any1 knows where that is! Anyway it was about a foot deep on the road and I'm 6 foot 4 and when I jumped out it was over my knees at the side of the road! I was ploughing through it and i came up against a stuck series 3 v8 so I got out to have a look and knobody was there! I looked around the corner and there was a british red cross defender 110 stuck aswel! So me and the v8 man went back started digging and tried to drive out it wouldn't have any of it and he told me they tried to get it out with the 110 but failed so I stepped up and dragged him out :) that was a big moment for me owning a so called gay lander rescuing the big boys with there v8s lol so I left cause the v8 was blocking me and he went to help the 110 lol wat an eventfully night!

I've got a vid of me on the way out I'll put it up tomoz and a couple of pics of the v8 it's pretty dark tho lol

I know, i'm just impatient and excited too. love the Freelander rescues. even more so on rescuing a tratter!!

Doesn't surprise me too much.

My FL was churning through the snow this time last year, when the Audi Allroad in my mirror suddenly slid off the road.

A series 2 and a 110 though? Awesome :)

I've had to rescue a friend and his Disco 2 on two occasions where he was completely stuck but the Freelander didn't even notice it was slippery !! Just cos a Freelander is small doesn't mean it's no good !! The doors have never fallen off mine ether ;)

I can confirm my doors are still on :)

This is a very heart warming story!!! Pictures are most definitely needed and an added tag of defender 110 added below.
Did anyone see the freelander last night on the northeast news??? Pulling a double decker bus up a hill
;)

Aint that small
Ok next to my mate Discovery 3 it looks tiny but I think being that bit smaller and lighter than the rest may give it an edge in the snow

Blinking forgot to put pics up!!!! I'll try do it tomoz!!! And I went up there today and the road had been cleared childish people taking the fun out of things lol

Could not find a link but here are the picture's but unfortunately some people can't tell the difference between a Freelander and a Discovery. These were taken in Alnwick where I live and it is just one steep bank no matter where you go

Paul

this was just after i pulled him out as you can see its bloody dark and my phones got a crap flash lol
