freelander tailgate window stuck down

hi
all I have just bought a 04 td4 and the tail gate window has just stuck down also the rear wiper will not switch off help please

Do a search it's a common fault.. lots of peeps before you have asked same question.

if a 3 door check the handles on the roof catches are securely closed and if so check the micro switches in them.

mine just went down, but would only come back up half way then go down again, pulled off rear plastics first, and noticed a wire had snapped off, soldered back on and all ok for now, sometimes its best to look first, then if you cant solve it, post the question, otherwise it can get confusing with a multitude of answers
