freelander radio cassette swap .

Hi all , I recently swapped the original Freelander radio cassette for a later LR CD radio . I have managed to connect everything up with a new lead from the BMW multi pin loom block to the new two block iso connectors . Sadly the steering wheel audio controls do not work with the new head unit . I talked to my local LR parts dept and they said a lead to make it work is no longer available and none are in stock at LR . My question is ,is there anyone who can make a lead or might there be someone who stocks it ?
Sorry if this has come up before but I cannot find a reference to it .

I don't know who you are referring to when you say 'LD' but I'd try a car audio specialist, either a local independent or some one online e.g. "...Insist on Autoleads... | Autoleads
