Hi all,
Bought a 2004 Freelander TD4 S a few weeks back.
Very pleased so far. Clean bill of health with the car - only problem was a front propshaft bearing rubber had split.
90 minutes and £280 lighter, Dakar out in Swanley had compelted the work, and the car is now good as gold.

Unlike many, I've not just joined because there is a problem with the car :p

Quite the contrary - hope to learn from all you learned landie lads and ask questions as I set to work, maintaining this thing (already spied the EGR blanking mod).

My usual mode of transport is my trusty Kawasaki ZX6-R - the Freelander is the wife's car (bit of a step up - literally - from her last car: a Suzuki Swift).
Now off to ask a question in the Freelander forum after a quick search :)

Take care all,
Anthony

:welcome2: From a former freelander owner, Hope you got a good sence of humour and a thick skin, as the Freelanders seem to get the mic in here all good fun and good banter though enjoy

So I've noticed during my trawls :D

The other car is a Saab, so I've been taking abuse about owning an old man's car for the last few years (I'm 25)! I get immune to the automotively-centred abuse it seems!

Freelander must be better than a Range rover sport though eh? ;)

Thanks for the welcomes!

lol:)
Never had anthyting to do with Range rovers, might do one day
Mind you the Sports I've seen round Here, One has been Blinged up so much looks like a Ganster''s car.

Freelander I had the Rover Diesel good car Relible the five years I had it, was only the EGR and related pipes that screwd it. The crap Had built up over the years Diamator of the opening to egr valve was down to that of a bic pen

Saabs are good and always look good cars, Borrowed a mates early 93 liked it but then it was out my price range, now I need something to tow.

Best car I've ever driven is a Maseratti Bi-Turbo the 90's one sort of cortina shaped.
anyway must go do some work have fun
