Help.
I"ve just bought a set of 4 Freelander alloys and they will not fit my Freelander. My Freelander is a 2000/2001 X reg TD4 S AUTO.
The wheels have stamped on them
RRC112310XXX
SL1091/A Italy
6Jx166H-46
They fit the stub holes but foul the front discs.
Do I need spacers? or are these wheels U/S for my Freelander.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

The TD4 vin starts at 1A - later than YA
and has bigger discs

The later wheels fit the early models but not vice-versa

Thanks for your comments.
Does anyone have any idea what I should do now. Should I sell these alloys and buy later ones, which is going to cost me more, or should I buy Spacers?
All of your suggestions would be appreciated.

Sell

Spacers will offset the load centre from the bearings and lead to premature wear

hi dave,if i were you i would put it down to experience and sell the incorrect wheels for as much as you can, may be what you paid for them. buy the right type, dont forget you con still sell your existing wheels, good luck tim

Thanks everybody for your replies.
Does anyone want to buy 4xAlloy wheels with tyres, 2 tyres OK the other 2 not OK.
Will only fit earlier Freelander.
Cheers everyone
Dave
