Sticking or damaged throttle body would be a good place start looking.
Also look for boost pipe splits, or a combination of sticking TB and split boost pipe, as both are pretty common, especially on a 14 year old FL2.

surely the tbhousing would come up on the obd ? no ?
Not necessarily.
The FL2 really needs to have and air path test routine run using SDD, which will cycle the TB, test for boost leaks, and confirm the boost logged is consistent with the air flow measurement at the MAF.
If you don't have access to SDD, then the only checks you can do is to check all the boost pipes for splits, and check the drive gears in the TB housing.

right drove it for 30 miles today and finaly went into limp home mode with fault code P0234-00 any more ideas ???????

The description of that code is linked in my signature.;)
But it's here, if you're struggling to see it.

So you could have a sticky boost control actuator, or possibly a sticky throttle body. The TB is the easiest thing to check, so do that first, then move on to checking the turbo boost control actuator, if the TB condition is good.

in your signiture ????
cant click on big lettering ??

thanks nodge whats the best access for waist gate linkage access ?

It's a boost control actuator, rather than a dump valve. Modern turbos use movable vanes, instead of dump valves, so the vanes need accurate control using an electronic actuator. ;)
also on the lower pipe coming from the intercooler there is a big valve incorperated in that pipe what is it ??
Do you mean the throttle body?

That's part of the emission control, closing at times in the drive cycle, aiding EGR effectiveness. The throttle butterfly is also closed when the ignition is turned off, so the engine stops smoother, and also prevents running on, should oil be in the combustion chamber.
It's quite common for the plastic gears for the butterfly drive to fail, given strange running issues.
