I ve just bought a 3 door freelander 1 td4 and I m looking to extend the roof rails because there not long enough for my kayaks (they hang over the back to far) is there any way of extending then so they go from front to back ratherer than mid way to back
not sure if there is any kind of kit out there or longer rails

or if anyone close to blackpool has and old rail maybe going begging I can always do a diy jobbie
my idea is to take the 2 end caps of the front of the rail extend them and refix the end caps back on I know I will probably have to make new fixing points at the front but im ok with that
