Hi guys help please, i have a 200 w reg freelander diesel. Most mornings recently my keyfob fails to open the doors . Obviously i can open the door with the key but then the immobilser is still kicked in. Come back later in the day and bingo works every time!! Any ideas

try changing the battery in the key fob, possibly dry joint in the fob too, which you should see with a magnifying glass.
if you take the battery out for any length of time (>2 mins or so, not an exact science) or operate the buttons with the battery out, you may then need to resynch the fob to the vehicle.
