Hi All

Still loving reading the forums.

Silly question... if the brake fluid reservoir cap is not on correctly will it affect my brakes ?

I recently had a rear fluid leak and noticed just now the garage hadn't put the fluid cap back on correctly.

What does everyone think ?

Kind regards from Dave in Wales :)

In reality,no. However if it's been loose enough to allow water or dirt to contaminate the fluid? It would be wise to replace what's in the reservoir. This is easy with a large capacity syringe.

Thanks Nodge, it was only done on Monday and the cap was on but just not on correctly so hopefully no contaminate got in there.

Many thanks for your reply.

Cheers - Dave
