Hi my freelander TD4 has a wobble when changing gear and when letting out the clutch when setting off, now i think its probably an engine mount but does anyone have any idea which is most likely to cause this problem, jumping the gun a little if its the lower tie bar how on earth do i get to it, i did ask this question some time ago and was informed with some certainty which mount it would be so im hoping for the same again. i have tried to find the the post but with no luck<thanks.Kieron

It'll most likely be the lower tie bar. It's easy to change, requiring nothing more than a couple of spanners and safe support for the vehicle once it's raised off the ground. ;)

Thanks for that , but I can’t actually see anything under the car except the sump guard , do I need to remove that , and is it at the front or back of the engine, thanks again . Kieron

Yes the sump guard needs removing first, but that needs removing for almost everything anyway. ;)
