I've had a couple of Range Rovers (currently got an Evoque) but I've just entered the glorious world of Defenders; delivery scheduled for Thursday.
It's a 1995 Defender 90 Stationwagon 300 TDi that is in good condition (recently restored) and done 135k miles. Have bought it expecting to spend money on it so now the fun begins.
List of jobs to do already:
1. Add side steps
2. Change wheels / tyres (current are too big)
3. Add rear bench seats
4. Fit a stereo
5. Change front seats
6. Connect winch (has a winch fitted, but not wired up)
7. Fit dog guard
8. Change the colour (its had a recent respray but not convinced by white so want to spray it silver)
Time to visit my local specialist I think...I'm useless at any kind of DIY...in the spirit of Defender ownership, I shall try everything myself, but will need a specialist to put everything right when I try to do stuff!!
