Hi, Hope that some of auto electricians can help. I am wiring in a set of fog lights and have been using a Halfords universal rocker switch. Everything works but it looks a mess. I now want to wire in a proper switch - part AMR 3751 - but this has 5 terminals - I have only 3 wires - anyone know which wire goes to which terminal.

Take out the switch which is working......unplug the wires(remember how they were) > check with a multimeter(setted on Ohm) between the terminals how they are opening/closing > take the new switch, do the same thing and plug the wires to the proper terminals in the sme sequence as on the previous one. Simple as that;)........thats what i'd do coz i'm not auto electrician:D:D

I have just done mine using a proper switch and used this

Just loop off another switch for the illumination :)

Disco 2 switch is no good, its "momentary" not latching as the lights are switched on by the BCU completing the earth path.

A lot of the land rover switches are the same, The D1 fog switch is :-

PIN 1 and 4 are the "switch"
PIN 2 is "illumination"
PIN 5 is ground

PIN 3 is never used
