Flanders: Two Wheel Drive- Caution!

Whilst carrying out pre-season maintenance I took the opportunity whilst the propshafts etc were off anyway to experience two-wheel drive on one of the Flanders. The narrow roads in this hilly region are used a lot by agricultural traffic which means there is always a fair bit of mud etc on the road surface. I found that the vehicle can easily become unstable under these conditions and would urge anybody to be very careful when using 2wd on anything but dry tarmac.

Yeah, the handling characteristics change significantly in "Mondo mode" and wouldn;t recommend this except in an emergency.
